Motorola’s next flagship phone, the Signature 27, has appeared in a hands-on video ahead of its launch on November 5. The promo video was made with YouTuber Danny Winget. It gives an early look at the design and points to several key specs.
The headline feature is the screen. GSMArena says the phone has a 6.8-inch display branded “Extreme AMOLED Duo.” It uses an LTPO tandem OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. A tandem OLED stacks two layers of light-emitting material, which lets a screen get brighter. Peak brightness is listed at up to 12,000 nits, a figure Notebookcheck calls the phone’s key highlight. For comparison, most flagship phones list peak brightness in the low thousands of nits.
Notebookcheck also reports a 2nm Snapdragon processor and a 200MP periscope camera. Motorola had earlier announced that the phone comes in two colors, Pantone Coal Smoke and Pantone Capulet Olive, and that it has Audio by Bang & Olufsen. Pricing has not been reported. Motorola is expected to share full details at the November 5 launch.
