Leaks point to October 7 launch for Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 series
Key points
- Leaker Evan Blass posted '7 October' on X, which multiple outlets read as the Galaxy Tab S12 series launch date.
- A separate leaker, fireuniverse on X, also cited October 7 before Blass did.
- It is unclear whether October 7 is the announcement date or the start of shipping; if it is an announcement, units may not ship until mid-October.
- SamMobile reports the Tab S12+ and Tab S12 Ultra are the two models expected; Tech Advisor notes the Plus model is not fully confirmed.
- The Tab S12 series did not appear at last month's Galaxy S26 FE launch event.
- Samsung has not confirmed any date or model lineup.
Summary
(AI)
The October 7 date comes from two leakers: fireuniverse posted it first on X, then Evan Blass. Samsung has not confirmed the date or the lineup.
Two questions are still open: whether October 7 is an unveiling or the start of sales, and how many models there will be. SamMobile and Tech Advisor both expect a Plus and an Ultra, but Tech Advisor says the Plus is unconfirmed. Android Authority reported Plus and Ultra specs on September 18.
