Apple iPhone 11 Pro

The Apple iPhone 11 Pro is the mid-tier model in Apple’s 2019 iPhone lineup. But it shares many similarities with its larger sibling, the iPhone 11.

Notable differences include:

• An additional 12MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom on the rear camera

• A larger 3190mAh battery

If screen quality is important to you, the iPhone 11 Pro is perhaps the sweet spot in the line-up. It has improved contrast and color over the standard iPhone 11 and increased resolution. Reviewers found it excellent for everything from reading text to watching HD video.

The camera also includes an additional 12MP sensor and telephoto lens, providing up to 2x optical zoom — something the iPhone 11 cannot do. Reviewers also noticed improved accuracy with the portrait shot modes of the camera thanks to the extra data available from the lens.

The phone’s larger battery allows for all-day battery life with ease and a noticeable boost over the previous iPhone XS. However, the iPhone 11 Pro also includes an 18-watt charger with the phone — unlike the iPhone 11— so charging speeds will be snappier as well.

Finally, there are some subtle design differences. While looks are largely the same as the standard iPhone 11, the rear glass features a matte coating which reviewers liked for its added grip and improved fingerprint- and smudge-resistance. The frame is also stainless steel instead of aluminum adding a slight bit of heft and a more premium feel.

In terms of performance, software, connectivity options, and more, the iPhone 11 lineup is identical. Many reviewers actually recommend the standard iPhone 11 over the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max for most users.
