Motorola Defy Pro

The Motorola Defy Pro is an Android smartphone that belongs to the touch-and-type category. Not only does it have a full touchscreen display but it also has a full set of hardware keys that can be used to type and navigate through the Android software menu. But before you think it’s just another QWERTY smartphone that runs Android, it’s worth knowing one thing: it is IP67 certified.

IP67 certification means that it is dust proof and water resistant for 1m up to 30 minutes. So you will never have to worry about wrecking it by way of unintentional water tests. Beyond its rugged features, it’s a pretty capable smartphone, with a 1GHz CPU, 512MB of RAM, 1GB of internal storage, and support for microSD cards.

Perhaps it may never match up to the likes of even Motorola’s own flagship devices, what with their insanely large hi-res screens, high-end cameras, and advanced wireless features. However, the Defy Pro is still a solid product that blends rugged features with the touch-and-type experience.
