Critic consensus
“The Moto G9 Plus is a solid mid-range mobile phone - nothing more but also nothing less. On the one hand, the mid-range model from Motorola offers very good sound quality, fast charging times and a performance that is appropriate for its price range. The build quality is also on the plus side of the Moto mobile phone. On the other hand, the Moto-G disappoints in one area that is important for a smartphone: the display - and also the camera performance is not entirely convincing.”
“We appreciated the large screen and the very good main camera, and the Snapdragon 730G still holds up pretty well. The large battery with fast charging is quite competitive, too. Even though there is no sign of the G7 Plus' premium build and loud stereo speakers, the G9 Plus appears to be positioned quite well feature/price-wise and we're happy to give it our recommendation.”
“The Moto G9 Plus is for the most part an amazing value phablet. But with Motorola having released the higher specced, more future proof Moto G 5G Plus mere weeks ago, it sits in an awkward position in the Western market.”
“Not fussed about 5G? Don’t care about 120Hz screens? The Moto G9 Plus is one of the best affordable phones around, tailor made for those who want to stream video and play games, not just faff about on WhatsApp.”
