“The Oppo A78 5G is another budget phone that boasts great battery life and decent performance even if the 720p display is a little soft. Much like the TCL 40R 5G, it shows that you don’t have to break the bank for a solid phone, even one with 5G connectivity.”
“The Oppo A78 has a big screen, a premium feel, and many other traits that let you forget it's a cheap Android device... as long as you can handle its poor camera performance and a tidal wave of bloatware.”
“The A78 5G is a cheap but commendable phone with some strong qualities, but the compromises Oppo has made on software and build quality means it won’t be a guaranteed hit with everyone.”
“In conclusion, the Oppo A78 5G is quite the interesting entry-level midrange smartphone. It’s got a lack-luster display but good speakers, a decent camera system carried by its software, and a somewhat slow charging rate for good battery life (thanks to that display).”
