Oppo Find X2 Pro

“In terms of the hardware, there are hardly any compromises, even if some people may mind the lack of a status LED, wireless charging, or a 3.5-mm audio port. The software restrictions of ColorOS as well as the limitation to 60 Hz while gaming (and in other apps) are a bit regrettable. But finally, the price point of the Find X2 Pro is too high, because the cameras in particular are not at the highest level.”

“While it can't quite compete with the Galaxy S20 Ultra in absolute image quality at the long end of its triple-cam setup, in most other cases, it delivers images and video that are hard to beat. And if we take that same Galaxy as a reference, the Find X2 Pro can teach the Ultra a thing or two. If you're looking for a high-end device today, we reckon you can't go wrong with an Oppo Find X2 Pro.”

“Cue in the fancy stuff. The Find X2 Pro has a one of a kind camera system with a 48MP primary cam that's not your run-of-the-mill 48MP cam - it has a much bigger 1/1.43 sensor and 1.12µm pixels as opposed to the mainstream 1/2.0 0.8µm units. If other phones have this sensor on their main cams, the Find X2 has for its ultra wide-angle cam instead of the usual tiny imager. And then there's the telephoto camera - a 13MP unit with a 5x periscope which is 1x more than the Galaxy S20 Ultra and 5MP more than the P30 Pro. It doesn't end there, of course. Oppo pulled no punches when it came to the display - the 6.7-inch AMOLED has a 1440p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, and you can have both at the same time, unlike a certain S20 Ultra. The 240Hz touch sampling and HDR10+ capability alongside full DCI-P3 coverage round up a really impressive panel.”

“The Oppo Find X2 Pro is a phenomenal phone that packs the best display you’ll find anywhere and backs it up with the fastest wired charging around and a top-tier camera too. You’ll have to live without wireless charging and a choice between bland grey or garish orange leather, but for pure performance, the Find X2 Pro can’t be beat right now.”
