PCD Chaser

There are plenty of affordable choices if you’re looking for something from the low-end Android smartphone segment. Consider the PCD Chaser. It features a 3.2-inch 320×480 screen, a 3MP camera, over five hours of continuous talk time per charge, and Android 2.3 Gingerbread as the default OS. What makes the Chaser special?

Nothing, really. There’s nothing remarkable about the Chaser at all. It’s rather thick with its 14mm profile, though it weighs a lightweight 119 grams. It’s just a basic Android-powered handset with an affordable price tag. Nothing more and nothing less.

But it can be useful as a no-frills Android phone. There’s no doubt that many other models trump it when it comes to hardware and software features. But price is often the biggest draw among phone buyers, and this is where the Chaser excels.
