Xiaomi Mi 9
Key specs
Critic consensus
“The Xiaomi Mi 9 is the smartphone to buy if you are after a flagship experience but on a budget. It offers everything that its competitors do but without needing to spend a fortune.”
“It's a stunning handset with a refined design aesthetic, killer performance, two-day battery life, and camera quality on par with phones that cost twice as much. It's an excellent value that requires very little compromise, and as such, it earns our Editors' Choice award for midrange Chinese phones.”
“The price, performance and camera offered up by the Mi 9 should have purveyors of more costly rivals such as Apple, Huawei and Samsung worried. The Xiaomi Mi 9 has the makings of one of the most worthwhile flagship smartphone purchases of the year.”
“This is probably the best mid-priced smartphone available right now, and those a bit further up the price ladder should be looking over their shoulders.”
