Xiaomi Poco F7 Ultra

Design

The design stands out with a matte glass back and an eye-catching circular camera setup. It feels premium, boasting a smooth finish that resists fingerprints and smudges. Experts appreciate how the phone achieves a bold look without seeming overdone.

Despite weighing 212 grams, the phone balances well, providing a secure grip with beveled edges. Reviewers from Notebookcheck mention, “It fits well in the hand,” ensuring comfort during prolonged use.

Display(s)

The display on this phone delivers a colorful and bright presentation, enabling you to see everything clearly in any situation.

It supports a 120Hz refresh rate, making actions like scrolling and gaming smooth and enjoyable. This refresh rate keeps movements on your phone seamless and fluid.

“The POCO F7 Ultra has a wonderful display,” noted Android Central. It achieves high brightness levels, ensuring that you can see your screen easily even in direct sunlight. With vibrant colors and sharp details, your content looks fantastic.

Performance

With the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, you’ll enjoy a fast and smooth performance whether you’re gaming, multitasking, or simply browsing. The device’s gaming experience excels, thanks to the added VisionBoost D7 chip, offering superior visual performance.

Reviewers noted that the phone handles graphically intensive titles like Genshin Impact with ease, maintaining smooth gameplay even at peak settings. The phone stays cool under pressure, ensuring comfort during prolonged use.

Overall, the performance on this phone not only meets your daily needs but also provides extra horsepower for more demanding applications.

Software & Storage

Running on HyperOS 2, based on Android 15, the Poco F7 Ultra provides a clean UI that’s easy to navigate. Reviewers noted that “the Poco phone uses round little logos for app icons,” offering a unique look.

Despite the familiar interface, the update support isn’t as extensive as some competitors. You can expect four major updates and six years of security patches, which experts appreciate for longevity.

Some users might find the interface similar to past Xiaomi models, offering consistency but little innovation in design elements.

Cameras

The highlight of this phone’s cameras is a 50MP trio with impressive daytime performance and vivid color reproduction. You’ll appreciate the sharp details captured by the main lens under good light.

Despite the strong sensors, shooting in low-light isn’t ideal as images can appear overly bright, losing some detail. Reviewers noted that blue and green tones tend to oversaturate, impacting image naturalness.

Lovers of vibrant video will find joy in the 8K recording capability, although pixellation might sneak into the less-lit scenes.

Battery

Enjoy peace of mind with long-lasting battery life, thanks to its sizable 5,300 mAh capacity. This feature ensures you can tackle your day without constant charging breaks, a relief for those who juggle multiple tasks on the go.

Rapid 120W wired charging makes this phone a convenient choice for busy lifestyles, as noted by an expert who states: “The phone managed to go from fully dead to 100% charged in just over half an hour.” This speed is perfect for reducing downtime, allowing you to get back to work, play, or other daily needs promptly.

The added 50W wireless charging offers flexibility and ease, catering to users who prefer a cable-free experience. Whether you’re at home or in the office, the Poco F7 Ultra adapts to your charging habits, providing both traditional and wireless options for ultimate convenience.

Audio

With its stereo setup, where the earpiece doubles as a second speaker, you’ll find the audio experience decent. However, reviewers note that at max volume, the high frequencies can sound harsh.

The speakers are sufficiently loud for casual media consumption, but the sound lacks depth, especially in the bass department, as also noted by Notebookcheck experts.

While the audio quality isn’t outstanding, it provides a satisfactory experience for everyday entertainment and communication needs.

The Bottom Line

This phone promises a robust performance, showcasing its swift and energy-efficient processing. Experts have mentioned, “It’s the ultimate value-focused flagship of 2025,” giving you quality components without the premium price tag. It delivers encryption-protected water and dust resistance, providing peace of mind.

Its battery endures daily tasks comfortably, offering fast charging capabilities to minimize downtime. Should you seek comprehensive value in mobile technology, this could be your next choice.
