Xiaomi Poco M8 Pro

“It would have been an easy recommendation if not for the intrusive ads and the presence of the Poco X7 Pro in Poco’s own lineup. As it stands, it is worth considering, but not without reservations.”

“Clean looks, sensible specs and decent all-round performance, the Poco M8 Pro makes a strong case for spending less.”

“The Poco M8 Pro offers a lot of hardware for the money, notably with a great display, big battery and fast charging. The mid-range Snapdragon chip ensures good performance too, but the experience is blighted by the bloated software. It’s a good choice for the affordable end of the spectrum, if you can live with the software.”

“The POCO M8 Pro 5G doesn’t really change the game with what it offers. And it doesn’t really need to. I think it’s a reliable daily driver that can offer about a day of average usage, while being capable of keeping up with mobile gamers. For those looking for a device for multimedia consumption, the speakers are pretty impressive as well, which is more than you can ask for.”
