Critic consensus
“The Xiaomi Redmi 12 is an attractive and inexpensive smartphone which may not include 5G, but it can offer lots of storage and precise locating in return.”
“With a design that’s pleasing to the eye and excellent battery life, the Redmi 12 make for a decent budget phone. However, certain drawbacks to do with camera performance, the occasional lag and slow charging speeds and lack of 5G in this variant, might outweigh the advantages.”
“The Redmi 12 is an exciting new product but its marred with its ability to topple the overall performance of its predecessor. If you’re coming from Xiaomi Redmi 10, there is no clear reason why you should upgrade to this version. However, if you’re coming from lower variants, this is definitely an upgrade without feeling guilty about the price that Xiaomi asks.”
“If you just want a good everyday perform to work so you can communicate and entertain yourself while stuck in traffic or during your free time, the Redmi 12 is a decent choice.”
