“The Lenovo IdeaPad K1 is a quality device, and it does have some minor advantages over other Honeycomb devices, like the multitask app killer. But none of its differences are game-changing enough to crown the K1 as the best Android tablet. Besides the crashes I experienced during testing, there's nothing major to complain about here, it's just that the K1 is not game-changing, and none of the Honeycomb tablets we've seen can beat the iPad 2.”

“For $499, the IdeaPad K1 offers a strong mix of style, performance, and uniquely compelling enhancements to the Android 3.1 UI. You also get a lot of handy software for your money. Unfortunately, the lackluster speakers and relatively heavy weight are turn-offs. We were especially annoyed by the ads, even if some will find the offers of interest. If you're looking for a better interface than stock Honeycomb and want more storage for less money, the IdeaPad K1 is a pretty good deal.”

“If you’re looking for an affordable 10.1-inch tablet, the Lenovo IdeaPad K1 is not the cheapest tablet, but at about $450, it does come in at less than most other 32GB models. The K1 is a bit too heavy and large for its own good, and Lenovo’s Android modifications are a mixed bag, but there is nothing particularly offensive about the design, specs, or operation of the device. It’s just nothing special, which might be the biggest knock against it. Everything is merely OK. Except, of course, for the silly charging port, we really wish it snapped in better.”

“Lenovo's IdeaPad K1 is a tablet with some bright ideas that can't manage to complete the basics. The strength of tablets is that they're computing without the friction or hassle – straight onto the web or email in seconds from picking it up. If the tablet doesn't reliably turn on, or if the web pages won't scroll properly, what's the point in a tablet?”

Here are some ways you can transfer files from your computer to the IdeaPad K1:

1. Using your desktop computer, send photo to your email then download it later on your tablet.

2. Transfer through Bluetooth if your computer is Bluetooth enabled (if it's not, you can buy a Bluetooth dongle for less than $30).

3. Use a data cable to hook up your tablet to your computer. A software/driver maybe required.

4. If your tablet has a memory card, remove it and insert it to your computer's card reader. It will appear as a removable drive in "My Computer".
