Critic consensus
“Everybody wants to have a piece of the tablet market, and the piece could become pretty big for Lenovo with devices like the Yoga Tablet 10 HD+: Excellent battery runtimes in combination with a decent performance, which is sufficient for most scenarios. You finally get a reliable WLAN module and GPS besides the extraordinary design and a clever kickstand. You can get a decent laptop replacement for less than 500 Euros (~$682) with the optional keyboard cover. The Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ does occupy more space in your bag than the rivals because of the handle bar and the features are not really lush. The 8 MP camera only takes average pictures.Still, these problems are almost forgotten if you look at the – only average bright – sharp display with wide viewing angles.”
“If you are looking for a 10-inch Android tablet, you can do worse than the Yoga 10 HD+, but if its key features are not important to you, devices like the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 come in at a similar price. As a combined Android tablet for media consumption and a bit of work, the Yoga is appealing with its front facing stereo speakers enhancing media consumption and the stand working well with a Bluetooth keyboard connected. If you will use it on the go, the LTE model is only £329 which changes the value proposition quite a bit. And at the end of the day, you won't find an Android tablet with better battery life right now.Ultimately it comes down to your needs. As a general use Android tablet it falls behind the competition at any price as it is bulky and awkward to hold and use for any length of time. Its strengths are in its versatility, but I am not convinced that is a price worth paying.”
“For $150 less than premium Android tablets and the iPad Air, the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ is a pretty strong value. The slate sports a handy kickstand, loud speakers, and enough battery life to make it through a full day of work and play. Unfortunately, the tablet's sluggish performance makes it a poor choice for demanding games, while users who are picky about color quality won't like the 1080p display. For just $10 more, you can get the ASUS Transformer Pad TF701T, which is much more powerful and has a better screen. And, if you're willing to splurge, the $499 Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has the most vibrant display of any tablet this size. However, if long endurance is paramount, the Tablet 10 HD+ is certainly worth considering.”
“What is unique about this tablet is its built-in kickstand, that is not only very helpful, but results in a different design aesthetic. Also impressive is the battery life, but what lets the tablet down is its sub-par display and clunky software experience. That said, it is still an impressive mid-ranger, and should compete nicely with other tablets in this price range.”
