Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+
Key specs
Critic consensus
“The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ wows with strong performance and a gorgeous 12.4-inch Super AMOLED display, and its S Pen and optional 5G make it the best Android productivity tablet you can get.”
“It has the best screen around and is a real powerhouse. The Tab S7+ also features one of the most versatile implementations of the Android OS we've seen, enhanced with the power of S-Pen at that. We had only one real issue with the slate - the S-Pen holder is far from convenient. A Book Cover is recommended, though Samsung has started selling its accessories at a rather premium price.”
“The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ is a powerful premium tablet, which is suited for both media consumption and professional use. It features a very fast SoC and its 120-Hz screen improves the user experience not only when gaming. The S Pen, which is included in the box, is a powerful tool for note-taking, drawing and making presentations. Moreover, the Android tablet also comes with an optional 5G modem, which should make the Tab S7+ quite future-proof if Samsung keeps its promises regarding software updates.”
“The Tab S7+ is one of the most accomplished tablets on the market, but Android‘s lack of optimisation for this form factor still holds it back slightly.”

In Depth
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Plus has a lot going for it being one of the first tablets by Samsung to come close to the iPad’s reign. While the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 is no slouch, there are some fairly important differences between the standard model and it’s bigger, pricier sibling.
Differences include:
- A larger 12.4-inch Super AMOLED screen
- A larger 10,090mAh battery
- Facial recognition as well as fingerprint sensor technology
- Included book cover keyboard accessory
The differences between Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7 Plus aren’t enough to overshadow the standard Tab S7. The Tab S7 Plus is just a hair more premium for the added cost.
The best option for you likely depends on why you’re looking to have a tablet. If you’re watching media or looking for a big screen then the Plus might be a better fit. Otherwise, you’ll get a very similar overall experience from the standard model. You can read more about what to expect in our review of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7.
