Xiaomi Redmi Pad SE 4G

“If you think an iPad mini is too expensive an investment, this is a solid tablet in a similarly compact form factor. But the list of things we wish were better is long. Everything from a tired old chipset and slow storage to a low-res screen and poor audio. You can’t ask for much at this price, but it’s worth spending slightly more to get a better tablet overall.”

“The Redmi Pad SE 4G comes in two storage options: 4GB+64GB for Rs 10,999 and 4GB+128GB for Rs 11,999. For a budget tablet, it packs in a lot of features that should satisfy most users. You get a good 8.7-inch display with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, great speakers, a dependable battery that lasts a full day, and a smooth software experience. To top it off, the 4G support adds extra versatility, making it a good option for anyone in the market for an affordable tablet.”

“After a few weeks of usage, it’s safe to say that the Redmi Pad SE 8.7 4G is a useful slate. That’s even if I feel the form factor is underutilized. There is just something compelling about tablets in the 8 to 9-inch form factor. They’re comfortable to hold in a horizontal orientation and use them as if they’re just giant smartphones. It’s not too awkward or difficult to take portrait or landscape photos, unlike larger display tablets with folio covers dangling while open. And users can take advantage of the form factor for mobile gaming, without the screen being too much of an issue for both hands to cover.”
