Google adds Shop devices section selling Pixel and Samsung Galaxy phones
Key points
- Google has launched a new "Shop devices" portal.
- The portal lets buyers pick up a Samsung Galaxy smartphone from the Google Store alongside a Pixel phone or Watch.
- The section only includes two brands: Google's Pixel and Samsung's Galaxy.
- One outlet describes the sales as happening inside the Play Store.
Summary
(AI)
The three outlets do not describe this the same way. One says the portal is part of the Google Store. Another says the phones are sold inside the Play Store. The coverage we have does not settle which is correct, so the exact location of the new section is unclear.
The available coverage is brief. It does not say when the section went live, what it costs, or whether other brands will be added later.
