In Depth
The Alcatel OT-665 is the kind of device that you might find in the hands of someone who never uses a phone for purposes beyond calling and texting.
The main display on the 665 measures 1.77-inches diagonally and features a native resolution of 128×160 pixels. It’s very low-tech, and so is the external screen, which is a 2-line OLED panel that merely shows indicators for signal strength, battery life, and the general status of the handset. The built-in camera takes 2MP resolution photos which can then be shared via Bluetooth 2.1. It also has an FM radio that can be played over the stereo speakers.
And that’s about it for this clamshell phone in terms of features. It doesn’t have any real third-party software support—except for the integrated Facebook and Twitter apps—so users are stuck with the default software configuration when they buy it. But then again, those who buy it probably won’t be doing it for the chance to run apps anyway. It’s for people who just want a phone for the sake of a phone.

Hi, according to the Alcatel 665 user manual, volume control is in the Profiles menu. You can adjust the volume of any sound profile (i.e. General) by navigating to it under Profiles, pressing Options and selecting Edit, then choosing Volume. You can use the up and down keys on the navigational pad to adjust the volume up or down. Hope this helps!
