Compass Verdict

Reviewers felt the Pixel 4 made a few too many compromises while trying to do too many things. For the price, it fails to excel in any one area over similarly priced competitors. Unless you’re looking for fast updates, reviews show you might want to look elsewhere.

Thanks for your interest in helping. The error message says "Call settings error, Unexpected response from network". The error message can be cleared by hitting "ok", but the call waiting option remains dim and cannot be toggled. And yes I had a reasonable signal. Thanks again.Β

From what I read regarding errors like this, it looks like an error from the carrier's end. I suggest bugging them 'til they fix it for you. Good luck!

My problem is only sending or replying to a group text; I receive them fine.Β  But alas, this procedure did not work for me.Β  I have had this problem since Dec 26 and have spent 5-6 hours on it already: support calls to Consumer Cellular and doing stuff suggested in multiple webpages describing this problem.Β  Unbelievably annoying, since I like the Pixel 4a otherwise.

Yes, you can use a Google Pixel with MetroPCS. The specific compatibility of Google Pixel models with MetroPCS may vary, so it is recommended to check with MetroPCS or refer to their website for the exact models that are supported.

You will need to use 3rd party apps which probably requires rooting. You can font size if it helps: go to Settings > Accessibility > Font size. Hope that helps.

I don't have an answer.Β  I have the same question - how do I find and download a manual for the pixel xl?

Hi Frank. According to a screenshot of a conversation with a Google support staff, rooting won't void the warranty. But on the comments area on that page, one user had a different reply from the support staff. It's best that you contact Google about this. Let us know what they say.

Press and hold the power button. When the menu where "Power off" is shown, check for the option "ScreenShot".

Hi Vikki. Yes, you can connect a thumbdrive on the Google Pixel XL and and play audio books from it.
