I just had the same problem. I got my new p9 lite today and wanted to transfer my sd card. That went good, but I wanted to see if it all want well, I opened the galery, clicked on a video and pressed play, the screen went black for about 0.2 seconds and displayed the same screen from before I pressed play. After some testing I found a different app called "videos". I opened it and accepted some terms and conditions, after that it all worked good.

Maybe it helps for you.

The possible reason is the network connection is too slow to load videos.

If your phone is running out of storage space, you need to clear the cache or unwanted files to free up storage space. .

If this video formats can't be supported by Huawei. So converting them to compatible format like MP4 is a good way.

Btw, you can even watch DVD on Huawei with some converter

Hi, I have a Huawei P20 pro and my son removed the camera icon and could not find it. If I searched for the app it would load though. So I found this solution to find the app/icon. When you search for the app by swiping down there is a location icon to the right. Select the location icon and you will be taken to where the Icon is.  Hope it works for you.

I've lost mine too.. The solution to this is simple..Firstly, add an empty page(make sure it's empty without any widgets)..then,zoom in to the page as if you were to zoom into photos..your hidden apps will appear

Hope that it's helpfull

1) go to settings

2) on the search bar add: apps

3) Select option: apps

4) Select: "more" option. The  3 dots at the bottom of the screen

5) select: show system processes

6) select: dialer

7) select: Storage

8) select: clear data

This should resolve the issue.

Hi Deon. Check your contacts, make sure it is showing the correct list. Also, go to Settings > Apps > look for the Phone app > Clear data. If problem persist, please directly contact your carrier, the problem is probably on their end.

I've read you have to make sure your phone has the technology first to use fingerprints. I can't remember how but Google it. My phone does not have the technology....Yet!

Hi Bob. There are softwares around the web that claims it can recover deleted files. But I can't vouch for any as I haven't tried any yet. You can try apps like Dumpster (link). Good luck! Hope you can recover your photos.

Hi Dean. Instead of pressing the phone icon when making a call, press the phone icon with a small portrait. If it won't work, it's probably because your carrier does not allow it. Anyway, there are a lot of video calling apps that you can install.
