Critic consensus
“If you can handle slow CPU and data speeds, the Kyocera Hydro is a solid handset. Not only does it run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, but at $129.99, it's reasonably priced and you won't be tied down with a contract. Most important, however, is the fact that it's waterproof. So the next time your phone accidentally takes a dip in the pool, you'll have the peace of mind of knowing that it could recover without mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. Or rice.”

I got it because its supposed to be break proof i had it for a year and today when i took it out of my back pack the screen was broken it freezes up a lot and is slow sometimes but its a pretty good first phone
It's a cute little phone and reasonable for the price. But the SD card gets too full quickly, all my apps keep closing and the phone would freeze and then turn on and off on its own. It would happen about 3-4 times a day!
phone is waterproof the screen is easy to touch and the phone itself is lightweight also sending messages is a blast because the messages send within 1 to 2 secs
In Depth
Did you know that you can now buy waterproof handsets that won’t break the bank? Indeed, and one such example is the Android-powered Kyocera Hydro. It ships with Ice Cream Sandwich as the default OS and features a 3.5-inch HVGA touchscreen display for user input. Its compact 13mm body weighs only 120 grams and, as mentioned earlier, is waterproof.
The Hydro uses a dated processor and only has 512MB of RAM, but performs well enough thanks to the default software. And while it has only 2GB of internal storage, this can be expanded easily through microSD cards.
It may never get an upgrade to later versions of the Android software, but it’s already feature-rich as it is. And since it hovers around the $100 mark—without a contract—it’s worth listing as one of the top budget Android handsets based on overall value.

Hi Steven. By default, the phone doesn't look like it has screen share (based on the manual). What you can do is use Google Chromecast if you want to play videos from your phone to your TV.
