“The LG L1 II is one of the sturdiest entry-level smartphones we’ve seen, but that doesn’t stop it suffering from the same issues as many budget phones. Its screen is dire and the 2-megapixel camera is as good as having no camera at all. The L1 II’s sub £50 price tag is hard to argue with, but at this price you are still better to opt for the Vodafone Smart Mini.”

“The LG Optimus L1 II price gravitates around $100 off contract with slight differences across markets, but it’s clearly at the bottom of Android’s pricing tiers. You can get even lower prices, but those would be for phones from lesser known brands from China that lack the support and credibility of a company like LG.Overall, we can safely say that the LG L1 II is a nice little phone that works fine for the most part. That 3-inch screen is too small for a perfectly enjoyable experience, but LG’s skin covers its flaws most of the time, and operation is fairly (even surprisingly) smooth. Sure, the camera is barebones and browsing is an exercise in frustration, but those are common issues in low-end devices.”

Costs less than an old school flip phone style. If you cant really afford a smart phone, think again!

I dont mind this phone one bit. It does what I need it to do. I mean, what they say is true. You get what you pay for. People pay 80.00 for a phone and expect it to be a saving grace. It makes calls, it sends texts, plays games and wakes me up in the morning. If you are paying next to nothing for ...
