Critic consensus
“The price of texting cell phones has come way down. Case in point: the LG Saber, a QWERTY-equipped slab phone on U.S. Cellular that costs just $9.99 up front. You don't get much for this price, though. If you're interested in playing music, browsing the Web, or snapping photos, look elsewhere. But for pure messaging addicts, the Saber is a steal.”
“The LG Saber is a very basic messaging phone--you won't find many multimedia features or even e-mail and instant messaging on here. But if all you want is a straightforward entry-level handset, the Saber does at least deliver when it comes to text and multimedia messaging. And at only $9.99 with a two-year contract, you do get your money's worth.”
