Make a call first, once answered, put it on hold. Now dial another number. Once answered, check the screen for merge call option.

Maybe the Micromax Juice 2 you're trying to use the SIM card with is locked with a different carrier. Make sure to unlock it first so you can use it with any carrier you want to.

Hi Shubham Kumar. Upgrading should be free of cost, check Settings > About phone > Software update. Although I'm not sure if it cost something if you ask them to do it for you.
