Critic consensus
“However, at MSRP, the budget materials in the shell and unimpressive overall performance of the slightly dated chipset, compared with the only average camera quality seem like plenty of reason to shop around for other devices before jumping on the Motorola One.”
“The Motorola One is a smartphone that turns out very solid in many areas. However, at this point there is strong competition in its price range.”
“Motorola's Android One-branded handset is a device for Android purists -- and anyone who wants a simple, high-quality, long-lasting Android experience that doesn't break the bank. But thrill seekers will need to look elsewhere, as this isn't the most exciting smartphone out there.”
“The Motorola One is a fine phone that lacks any crippling flaws, but elements such as a low-res display and an average camera make it hard to champion over other lower-mid-range alternatives.”
