“The Motorola Razr 2022 is a huge leap over the predecessor in many respects: much better build quality, much more power, longer runtimes, an upgraded camera, and finally also modern communication standards. And all that is available for considerably less money.”

“The Razr 2022 is a truly premium device, through and through. Motorola clearly decided to go all-out on the clamshell foldable this time, and it shows. Some of the key highlights of the phone include its refined and slick design and excellent construction. Also, the gorgeous, high-performing, foldable display and solid stereo speakers. While not without some issues, mainly to do with odd software limitations, the camera setup on the Razr 2022 didn't leave us wanting either. As for some of the less favorable aspects, here, we have the same kind of mediocre battery life typically associated with the form factor and an underperforming flagship chipset, kneecapped by the limited amount of space. The charging speed could have been a lot better too. But the elephant in the room is the steep price.”

“The Motorola RAZR 2022 is a big improvement over its predecessor in every area. Its design is refined, it finally has top-notch processing power, and both screens are brighter and better. The display has one of the smallest creases I’ve ever seen on a foldable device, which for me is a great advantage. Still, when compared to its only rival, the Galaxy Z Flip 4, the RAZR 2022 performs worse in almost every department. It is similar when it comes to raw performance, but the camera system is definitely worse. Battery life also isn’t as great, and Samsung’s phone is more compact and feels more premium. The RAZR is more expensive too, which puts the nail in its coffin.”
