Motorola Razr 60

Design

The Motorola Razr 2025 offers a striking design with a choice of fun, vibrant colors like Spring Bud and Gibraltar Sea. Its design is practical, with the phone folding compactly, making it pocket-friendly and easy to carry. The build includes a robust titanium-reinforced hinge and Gorilla Glass Victus, which add to its durability.

The material on the back has a slightly rubbery texture that collects dust and lint, according to one reviewer. Yet, the phone’s overall design has been praised for its nostalgic, satisfying snap closure, which adds to the user’s enjoyment of the device. Experts agree that the Razr 2025 is nearly flawless for a flip phone.

Display(s)

The inner display shines with a 6.9-inch foldable OLED screen, delivering a bright and vivid experience perfect for enjoying videos or web browsing. Featuring a 120Hz refresh rate, it ensures a smooth and responsive feel, making interactions seamless.

“It’s a joy to look at!” experts from PhoneArena noted about the screen’s sharpness and vibrant colors. Even under direct sunlight, you’ll have no problem viewing the display thanks to its high peak brightness of up to 3000 nits.

The outer 3.6-inch OLED screen, although slightly smaller, still impresses with a quick 90Hz refresh rate, making quick tasks on this external display a breeze.

Performance

Equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7400X, the Motorola Razr 60 handles basic tasks like browsing and messaging well. You will notice delays during intensive multitasking or gaming, as the processor doesn’t match flagship standards. Some experts highlighted, “The camera, in particular, was not as fast as I’d like.” For day-to-day use, you will find the phone satisfactory, but must manage performance expectations. Additionally, application switching may show slight lag, impacting those accustomed to quicker response times.

Software & Storage

The software on this device provides a clean and simple experience but only includes three years of updates, which may feel limited for long-term use.

The ease of use is a highlight, but Moto AI features tend to lag when processing queries, according to experts.

Reviewers at PCMag noted the software is complemented by a useful outer screen, allowing you to access many apps without unfolding the phone. This provides convenience for quick tasks.

Cameras

The phone’s 50MP main camera delivers strong color accuracy and decent detail, though experts find inconsistencies in image sharpness. It’s suitable for quick snaps, but may not satisfy demanding photographers.

Low-light scenarios illuminate well, but reviewers noted issues with capturing fast-moving subjects, leading to blurry results. The 32MP front camera competently handles selfies, providing true-to-life colors. You’ll appreciate using the outer cameras for selfies, as they offer better quality while utilizing the cover screen as a viewfinder.

Video isn’t a strong point, with quality varying by light conditions, yet experts from PhoneArena describe stabilization as adequate. Overall, the cameras work well for day-to-day needs, though they don’t rival flagship shooters.

Battery

The Motorola Razr 2025 surprises with its solid battery performance, offering a full day of power even under moderate usage. Reviewers highlight a “surprisingly good” battery life, noting that it manages daily demands like photo-taking and scrolling with ease from 7 am to 11 pm.

With 30W wired charging and 15W wireless charging capabilities, the Razr 2025 ensures you’re back to full power efficiently, reducing downtime. For those familiar with the foldable segment, these options provide a reliable recharge experience that keeps up with your lifestyle.

“The Razr 2025’s battery capabilities hold up well for the form factor,” experts say, making it a dependable companion for everyday tasks without the constant anxiety of running out of juice.

Audio

Audio quality on this phone has left many wanting for more depth. Its lack of bass can be particularly noticeable during music playback, failing to deliver rich, immersive sound. “The speakers lack bass and are noticeably tinny,” highlighted a reviewer.

The device performs decently during calls, ensuring your voice comes through clearly without distortion. However, the absence of more refined audio tuning limits the entertainment experience, which can be improved with headphones or external speakers for better sound fidelity and enjoyment.

The Bottom Line

This device offers an attractive entry into the world of foldables with a compact design and practical outer display for quick tasks. Its stylish color options and easy-to-use interface make it appealing for those seeking something different from traditional smartphones.

While the performance may lag during heavy tasks, and camera quality is just satisfactory, it remains a good pick for budget-conscious buyers looking for everyday use. “The 2025 Motorola Razr is a pretty competent smartphone, even with some compromises,” say experts.
