Can you take only one image on the Nokia Lumia 1020?

Open Camera > Settings > Capture mode > choose a mode that only captures one image. Let me know if you find it.

I suggest having it checked by a technician. It might just be the battery that is dead. Does your phone still react when you plug it to charger?
