“There’s a lot to like about the OPPO A17 at this price-point, though of course there are some rough edges in terms of performance. The MediaTek processor/4GB RAM combo really isn’t up to a lot of multitasking and use for things in quick succession – typing fast, multitasking etc. What it is good for is running basic phone apps, with the processor able to handle things well once it’s loaded. The camera could be better, but offers acceptable results in good light, though does tend to struggle a little with any movement in low-light shots.”

“OPPO's A17 looks and feels far better than a budget phone should, but is let down by sluggish performance and a camera that struggles to take sharp photos. The A17 could still be a great buy if you're just looking for a handset that can handle the essentials, but you'll need something beefier if you want more from your phone.”

“The OPPO A17 is an entry-level phone with good functionality and value if you only need a reliable, low-cost device. To do that and not compromise on build quality (yes, you want it to last a few years), a low-powered processor, micro-USB 10W charging (USB-C PD charging costs much more), no NFC, no buds (it has a 32.5mm jack), no bumper case, and mono speaker.”

Hi there. If your phone is plugged in to charger, try to remove it and observer. Also, it may be one of your apps causing your phone to not turn off its screen.
