Critic consensus
“The Find X5 Pro has no obvious downsides other than the telephoto reach and is strong on the fundamentals, but that's not making it exceptional. Not enough to justify the sticker price solely on the merits. On the other hand, less sensible decisions can be made than paying a premium for those two cameras in a sexy ceramic shell.”
“The Find X5 Pro comes with everything we expect in a premium smartphone: a faultless display with an adaptive refresh rate, a good camera setup, long battery life, very fast charging, IP68 certification and a slick design. But there is still room for improvement.”
“The Find X5 Pro has one of the top three displays we've ever seen in a phone, and can go toe to tow or even surpass such flagships like the S22 Ultra or iPhone 13 Pro Max in most other areas such as camera performance, battery life, 5G connectivity, or charging speeds. We'd have to particularly emphasize the ultrawide camera quality that matches that of the main sensor, as well as the fast nighttime shots processed by the in-house MariSilicon X NPU with only the telephoto camera's zoom range being on the midrange side. Despite its numerous virtues, the premium ceramic Oppo Find X5 Pro could very well be priced on par with Samsung or Apple's finest, as usual, which would be a tough hill to climb at launch.”
“The Oppo Find X5 Pro is a great phone with powerful specs, crisp cameras and a sleek design. But for all its strengths, there’s a superior subsidiary in the OnePlus 10 Pro with near-identical specs, better software and a cheaper price.”
