I have returned this phone for the fourth time today because it is constantly shutting itself off. I have recieved 3 replacements and we have 2 more phones just like this that are having the same problem
Very poor signal reception, buttons are hard to use unles you have very tiny fingers.. I will be returning mine to the store!
There are many things i like about this phone. So it sucks that the main purpose of a phone is to talk because thats difficult to do on the my shot. All of my calls have cut in and out on both ends. I even had my first one replaced but the problem persists.

The R430 is definitely a basic, no frills clamshell. If you are looking for fun, fancy frills or alliterations, pass on this one. But if you want a durable, great sounding clamshell phone that has buttons you can push without difficulty, a screen you can view without squinting, this phone is fine.
The R430 provides an external screen so you can check the time and other key information without having to open the device, and the internal screen measures 1.9 inches and provides a modest 128 x 160 pixel resolution.
The R430 offers 3 hours of talk time and 325 of standby time.
I do find it a bit ironic that this phone is dubbed “Myshot” and yet it only has a 1+ megapixel camera. Nonetheless, what it does it does just fine.
Keep in mind there are still a great many folks who really do just want a durable, reliable phone, and Samsung obviously knows that. For those people the MyShot R430 is a fine choice.
