Xiaomi Mi A1

“For $220, you get a very capable phone that hits enough of the right marks that you'll quickly forget about the low price. With the Mi A1, you don't feel like you're missing out by not spending three to four times as much on a flagship phone, and, for that, we love it.”

“The Mi A1 is the first smartphone from Xiaomi that is not delivered with the in-house MIUI operating system, but with stock Android instead. Since the Mi A1 is part of the Android One project, you are ensured of quick security updates and an update warranty of two years. In terms of its hardware, the Xiaomi Mi A1 is a very good mid-range smartphone.”

“Mi A1 is not perfect but it can be considered as a complete package. The hardware selection is very substantial offering great performance, premium build, sharp display and capable rear camera. The phone, however, fails with a weak front-facing camera and average battery life.”

“The combination of solid specs, premium design and the versatility and benefits of Android One shine through with the Mi A1 impressively. If you are looking for a budget phone that has it all, take a real hard look at Mi A1.”
