ZTE Axon 30 Ultra

“It'll be a particularly good fit for those looking to take nice pictures without springing the cash for the true no-holds-barred flagships that can run you twice the price. Sure, there will be compromises, but there won't be any dealbreakers.”

“The ZTE Axon 30 Ultra looks great and performs like a champ, but the phone’s spotty connectivity combined with ZTE’s uncertain future makes it a hard sell.”

“The current flagship smartphone from ZTE offers a good overall package with a lot of performance and a 65W fast charging technology including a matching power adapter in the scope of delivery for an MSRP of about 750 Euros (~$913). Due to the focus on a high-resolution quad camera setup, the Axon 30 Ultra has very good photo qualities, which the upper-class competition, such as the Xiaomi Mi 11 or Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus cannot offer. Apart from the Trinity Cam, however, ZTE's flagship is not free of criticism, even considering the comparatively cheap (flagship) pricing.”

“The ZTE Axon 30 Ultra is exactly what it appears to be: a lower cost alternative to the big Android flagships with top-tier performance and a great screen. I wouldn’t recommend it to just anyone, and you need to be comfortable either living with a couple of quirks or navigating a way around them. You don’t quite get the same level of polish or reassurance that you would from a Samsung, OnePlus, or Google device, but in return you get excellent performance for the money.”
