Honor Pad 8

“Honor has achieved a solid tablet debut with the Pad 8. If you are looking for a mid-range Android device that is large as possible and cheap as possible at the same time, Honor's 12-inch tablet is the right candidate because there are currently no cheaper alternatives in this form factor.”

“The Honor Pad 8 boasts one of the biggest displays in the market segment and some of the nicest speakers, packed in a body with an upmarket build. The (comparatively) fast charging and the competent multi-window implementation are also strong points in its favor. The Pad 8 is missing a microSD slot, which you'd find on the bulk of competitors, and that's possibly the largest omission on its spec sheet. The meh battery life and lack of cellular connectivity are easier to swallow on a device that's probably too big to leave the house often, while the chipset's lack of serious oomph doesn't hinder the tablet's use for less demanding applications.”

“The Honor Pad 8 is a media-focused tablet that does a great job on a budget. Want to watch TV shows, movies, or YouTube on an Android tablet? Get this.”

“Affordability is a key feature of the Honor Pad 8, and the tablet is available for just £229 in the UK and ₹21,999 in India. That's a good value when you consider the size of the screen and the build quality, and while it isn't the fastest in this category, it is well-suited for multimedia. So if you want a budget tablet mainly for streaming videos or browsing, you'll find a lot to like in the Honor Pad 8.”
