“If you are looking for a new mid-range tablet with a large display and appreciate a very appealing speaker system, the Honor Pad 9 could be the perfect companion for you. In addition to the high-quality feel, the Honor tablet impresses with its fast memory, low waste heat, and pen support. However, in view of the manufacturer's unclear update policy, those interested in the Pad 9 will have to come to terms with the lack of extensive software support.”

“The Honor Pad 9 doesn't aspire to be a premium device by any means. Still, it delivers well on the basics with a large and high-resolution 120Hz display, a great speaker setup, very decent performance and great build quality. Its display is big and legible, and MagicOS offers powerful multitasking and productivity tools. With the Bluetooth keyboard at its side, we can easily see it as a desktop replacement for many, especially students. The Pad 9 is also not strapped for performance.”

“The Honor Pad 9 looks slicker than its price suggests, and has decent performance to boot. It’s a tempting Android alternative to an entry-level iPad.”

“The Honor Pad 9 is a slick tablet with decent performance and a lovely display at a reasonable price. It’s much easier to recommend now the company has buried the hatchet with Google too, marking it an excellent (and more affordable) iPad alternative.”
