Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro and S27 Ultra Said to Get Improved Privacy Display
Key points
- Samsung's Galaxy S27 Pro and S27 Ultra are said to get an improved version of the Privacy Display.
- Privacy Display debuted on the Galaxy S26 Ultra this year. It blocks side-angle views of the screen so bystanders can't see sensitive data.
- The feature is expected on two of the four Galaxy S27 models, so it would reach a smaller phone than the Ultra.
- SamMobile says it has exclusively confirmed the upgrade. Samsung has not announced it.
Samsung is reportedly preparing an improved Privacy Display for two of its 2027 flagships, the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra. Samsung has not announced either phone or the upgrade.
Privacy Display launched this year on the Galaxy S26 Ultra. It is a screen feature that blocks prying eyes, so people next to you can’t read what is on your phone. Notebookcheck calls it arguably the most innovative feature of the S26 Ultra. SamMobile adds that several other brands have since put similar technology in their own high-end phones.
The S27 series is said to have four models. Two of them, the Pro and the Ultra, are expected to support the upgraded version. That would take the feature beyond the Galaxy S Ultra line, where it has been exclusive so far. SamMobile says it can exclusively confirm the plan. PhoneArena and Android Headlines report the same two-phone lineup.
