T-Mobile announces T-Mix, three unlimited plans with choose-your-own perks
Key points
- T-Mobile announced T-Mix on Oct. 26, 2026. It is a new set of postpaid plans that lets customers pick their own perks.
- There are three T-Mix plans: Standard, More and Loaded.
- The plans are due to be available in November.
- The pool of perks includes streaming services and phone discounts.
- There are limits on how many perks a customer can choose.
- PCMag says the lineup still assumes customers need either no mobile-hotspot data or a very large amount.
T-Mobile announced the plans itself in a press release on Oct. 26, 2026, and all five pieces of coverage appeared the same day. The company calls T-Mix a first for wireless. It says the plans replace rigid, one-size-fits-all plans with more choice. That framing is T-Mobile’s own.
The announcement comes with no launch date beyond “November”. The coverage available here does not give prices, the full perk list, or the exact perk limits per plan. Check T-Mobile’s own plan pages for those details closer to launch.
Outlets differ in tone. PCMag describes it as the carrier changing up its plans again and likens the perks to a coupon book. It questions the hotspot tiers. CNET stresses the wide range of extras but flags caveats on how many can be picked. Android Police asks whether the plans are worth it. None of the outlets in this set has yet judged that question for most customers.
