Hi EB99. Maybe you are in silent mode. While in the homescreen, press volume up button to get out of silent mode and continue pressing it to increase ring volume.

Hi Kathy. If you're setting up voicemail thru calling, I'm thinking it may be the proximity sensor triggering to turn off the screen. On the upper side of the phone, on the right of the earpiece, that's the proximity sensor. Is it blocked by a case or dirty or smudged with fingerprints? Try cleaning that part.

Hi Ann! Yes, you can. While in standby mode, press volume down keys 'til you see vibrate mode icon. Please also check by press and holding power button, when menu pops-up, on the bottom of the menu, check if vibrate mode option is there. Vibrate mode icon usually looks like either of these: pic1, pic2

Hmm.. Not sure, maybe something about their setup of the Wi-Fi network. Have you checked other phones if they can connect to the Wi-Fi network in Panera easily?
