“The Nokia 6263 is a sleek, music focused clamshell, with convenient music playback buttons and stereo Bluetooth support. The 2.5mm audio jack is disappointing, though, as is the flimsy microSD slot cover. I would still classify the 6263 as Recommended, however, thanks to the build quality and friendly S40 user interface.”

Great battery life, easy to hear. It is a phone, a great phone. It is not a camera, it is not a word processor, it is not a computer, it is a phone. It does not sing for you, it does not dance for you, it is a phone.
When I got this phone, it was one of the few that T-Mobile had that supported their 3G network. Unfortunately, what I did not know was that T-Mobile had had Nokia create a custom firmware for their version of this phone. The custom firmware blocks network access for all third-party apps - useful ...
I'm surprised to see so many bad reviews for this phone. I've been using mine for about a year now and really like it. I've always used flip-phones only (this probably my 6th or 7th) and I like this one the most overall. The good - * Excellent main screen and bright enough to be useful even in su...
In Depth
Curiously, while T-Mobile is the only carrier not running on a 3G network and still not providing a music downloading service, it nonetheless is producing phones capable of both.
Such is the case with the Nokia 6263, a quad-band, 3G capable flip that features a 2.2 inch LCD screen (240×320), mini USB port for easy syncing, Bluetooth 2.0 support, dedicated MP3 controls and an overall decent feature set.
The MP3 player accepts WMA, eAAC+ and MP3, and you can transfer music via Bluetooth, USB cable or memory card. Unfortunately, T-Mobile disabled the phones ability to use MP3s as ring tones. Darn it!
The 6263 also boasts an FM radio and allows for 20 station presets.
The Nokia 6263 trades shiny for matte black, and is rated at 3.3 hours of talk time and 270 hours of standby time. Users can customize the phone with a variety of themes, wallpapers and animations and can assign pictures to contacts. Each contact slot allows for a generous amount of information.
Overall, the Nokia 6263 is a quality phone with reportedly good quality sound (both voice and music), and while the interface is limited, what it does do it does well.
