Critic consensus
“Great screen, long battery life, decent cameras. The Samsung Galaxy A50 delivers in all key areas and is a triumph of a midrange smartphone.”
“The Galaxy A50 has the looks to impress, a very colorful AMOLED screen with an under-screen fingerprint scanner, a very capable camera on both ends, a gaming-friendly chipset, and a beefy battery that will keep the lights on for quite some time. But the best part - the price of €280 is quite reasonable and competitive.”
“The Samsung Galaxy A50 is a solid midrange phone with good looks, a gorgeous OLED display, and solid battery life. If you're a die-hard Samsung fan in search of a good midrange handset, this is your best bet. If not, you should consider the Pixel 3a. It checks off all the same boxes as the A50, along with a superior fingerprint sensor, faster performance, better camera quality, and guaranteed software updates.”
“It offers a lot of what the flagship Samsung phones offer at a fraction of the price. The Samsung Exynos processor worked well for me during my testing, but I am also using my phones for work more than for gaming. The A50 camera is very capable and helps you take decent shots that are more than adequate for sharing with family and friends.”
