Samsung Galaxy S24 FE

Design

The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE impresses with its elegant design, reminiscent of premium models. The aluminum frame enhances durability, and the use of Gorilla Glass Victus Plus elevates its premium look. This choice of materials assures you of a solid, scratch-resistant phone with a reassuringly high-end feel.

The phone’s design contributes to its sturdiness. It boasts an IP68 rating, meaning you can trust it to withstand both dust and water. Experts at PCMag noted it as familiar yet high-end, signaling Samsung’s commitment to quality.

Although the bezels are slightly thicker than higher-end models, the device remains sleek and comfortable to hold. It maintains a fashionable aesthetic while offering resilience against drops and rubbing thanks to its superior materials.

Display(s)

The Galaxy S24 FE boasts a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED display. It’s larger than before, offering ample space for activities like watching videos or reading. You’ll benefit from the vivid colors and sharper details, thanks to its FHD+ resolution.

The smooth 120Hz refresh rate ensures fluid motion on the screen. This means less lag when scrolling or playing games. According to experts, one said it provides “a solid viewing experience for its price point.”

Though it doesn’t reach the same brightness level as the flagship, reviewers note that it works well in most lighting conditions, with outdoor readability being decent.

Performance

The Galaxy S24 FE features the Exynos 2400e processor, which provides impressive speed and efficiency, especially at its price point. Reviewers highlight that it handles gaming and multitasking smoothly, making it a reliable choice for moderate phone users.

Compared to its predecessor, it manages better performance with less heat, thanks to its improved design. Whether you’re browsing the web or playing mobile games, you’ll notice its responsiveness and ability to keep up with more demanding applications.

For those who value a strong, consistent performance without paying flagship prices, the Galaxy S24 FE offers compelling capabilities that won’t disappoint during everyday use.

Software & Storage

The Galaxy S24 FE offers a seamless interface with its One UI system. It’s designed to be user-friendly while providing robust functionality.

The phone comes loaded with Galaxy AI features, delivering unique experiences like advanced photo editing and smart productivity tools. Reviewers commend the capacity of Galaxy AI to “transform any drawing into art” and improve photo quality.

You will appreciate extended software support with Samsung’s promise of seven years of updates. This long-term commitment ensures your device remains up-to-date with the latest features and security patches.

Cameras

The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE features a well-rounded camera setup, consisting of a 50MP main, 12MP ultra-wide, and 8MP telephoto lens. The main sensor captures vibrant colors and sharp details, even in challenging lighting conditions.

Reviewers note, “Photos from the primary camera are generally vibrant and relatively sharp, with that signature Samsung ‘pop’ to the colors” (Tech Advisor). However, the ultra-wide lens can fall short at night, losing clarity in dark areas.

The camera’s telephoto lens, though smaller in sensor size, is supported by optical stabilization, maintaining clear shots up to 3x zoom.

Battery

Enjoy a full day’s usage with the battery, whether you engage in light browsing or extensive work tasks.

Moderate users can anticipate ending the day with around 26% battery capacity remaining, even after 15 hours of use, as experts highlighted.

Charging speeds are modest, but with the addition of wireless charging, you achieve more flexibility in maintaining your phone’s power levels.

Don’t miss out on placing the phone on your wireless pad for a quick boost, especially during busy days.

Audio

The Galaxy S24 FE enhances your listening experience with its impressive audio quality. Its speakers deliver clear and immersive sound for videos and games, providing an enriched entertainment experience. Reviewers from Android Authority mentioned, “Audio through the speakers is loud, clear, and doesn’t distort at high volumes.”

During calls, the microphones ensure your voice is heard clearly, reducing ambient noise and improving communication. Experts highlight the device’s ability to pick up voice commands effectively, adding convenience to your daily interactions. Whether you’re on a call or enjoying your favorite shows, the audio experience on this phone will suit your needs.

The Bottom Line

Though it includes a larger, tougher build and impressive AI features, the elevated cost can be a hurdle. Launch timing remains problematic, as expressed by reviewers, “its late arrival makes it tough to recommend,” with price being higher than previous models. The solid design and long software support are strong points, but if value dominates your decision, consider waiting for offers.
