Thanks for your reply.  Nothing happened when I tried charging it, I even bought a new charger just in case my old one was broken.

Try press and holding both power button and volume down button. Let me know if your phone turns on.

I guess dispose it properly. How did that even happen?  I once experienced a phone that heated up real hot but it shuts down by itself.

Can you try turning on your data when receiving multiple pictures? I read from other users enable their data to send/receive.

That sucks. What happened? Well, you need to replace the LCD. You should have it check first if there's no need to replace the digitizer (It's the glass on top of the LCD). Best visit local service centers or contact Sony to get a quotation for the cost of repair. Good luck!

Hi there make sure your SIM card works, try it with other phones. If you confirm that it works fine, I suggest having your phone checked as you may need some repairs on the SIM slot of your phone.

Hi there. Try this: Go to Settings > Apps > Messages > Clear data. Check if the same message show up again.
