ZTE Flash
Key specs
Critic consensus
“Other than the Sprint Flash's support for 4G LTE and its minimalist UI, the device doesn't have much going for it. Its laggy internal speeds make old flagship handsets like the Galaxy Nexus and the HTC Evo 4G LTE (both of which are $99) look more appealing. And if you can spare an extra $70, your choices get even better. You can get the same 4G LTE speeds, but a faster processor, higher-quality screen, and better camera with the LG Optimus G, Samsung Galaxy S3, and Motorola Photon Q 4G LTE.True, the Flash isn't exactly comparable to these top-notch phones, but it does promise a powerful 12-megapixel camera. And while I do admire the ambition, the fact that the camera fails to deliver just shows once more how ZTE isn't ready for prime time (I said that about its Warp Sequent and I'll say it here again). My advice for ZTE would be to give me a reliable phone with a great 8-megapixel (or even 5-!) camera rather than a poor 12-megapixel camera.”

you can buy this phone just for the sake of the camera... really terrific phone.. The camera in particular really shines in this device.
Camera Quality is too good and the design of phone is sleek and thin. I have this phone for more than 6 months and it has not given me any problem. It is worth purchasing this phone for any amount.
In Depth
The ZTE Flash defeats the common wisdom that you get what you pay for. Priced as a mid-range phone, the Flash has specs found in high-end smartphones: 4G LTE connectivity, a 12.6 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and an HD display, among other things.
With rounded curves similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Nexus, the Flash sports an eco-friendly design. It’s powered by a decent 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor and 1GB of RAM, a 4.5 inch touch-screen with 960 x 540 pixel resolution, and boasts impressive add-ons like NFC for contact-less payments, Bluetooth 4.0, and an up to 32GB microSD expansion slot to complement the paltry 8GB of internal storage.
Aside from the storage, a drawback is that the device is pre-loaded with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS that was released in October 2012. ZTE has not announced a schedule for the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update.
Attractively price contract-free or on contract with Sprint, the ZTE Flash will likely hit the mark for many in the smartphone market.
