Microsoft Surface Pro 6

“Microsoft’s 2018 Surface Pro is still one of the best Windows tablets available: excellent quality, excellent display, good cameras, enjoyable input devices (even though Type Cover and Pen are optional and have to be purchased separately), and a very good microphone. However, it is still not the best of its class in every single category.”

“The Surface Pro 6 finally delivers on Microsoft’s promise of creating a tablet with laptop performance. The design remains identical though, and Microsoft’s continued refusal to adopt USB Type-C remains frustrating.”

“The Surface Pro 6 isn't for everyone. It's for people who will truly benefit from having a detachable 2-in-1 that's light enough to carry anywhere and flexible enough to use as a tablet or laptop. But if you're in the market for that kind of device, Microsoft's convertible is the one to buy. The Surface Pro 6 is not only significantly faster than its predecessor, it lasts a lot longer on a charge.”

“While the Pro 6 offers roughly the same impressive benchmarks as other eighth-generation Core i5 devices, including convertibles and ultralight laptops, it shines the brightest in the realm of battery life.”
