Samsung Galaxy Tab S11

Design

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 features an aluminum body, making it both lightweight and sturdy. At just 5.5 mm thick, it offers a slender profile that’s easy to hold and carry, making it ideal for on-the-go use.

Armor Aluminum and Gorilla Glass 5 shield the tablet against daily wear and tear, with the latter also safeguarding against scratches. This robust construction ensures your device remains in good condition even with regular use.

Experts highlight its IP68 water- and dust-resistance, perfect for use in diverse environments like a poolside or during your bath. The S Pen’s new magnetic attachment on the frame improves accessibility, though some reviewers at PhoneArena miss Bluetooth functionalities. Despite its premium materials and notable durability, reviewers from Notebookcheck mention a lack of vibrant color choices, limiting personalization options.

Display(s)

This tablet features an 11-inch Dynamic AMOLED screen with a sharp resolution of 2,560 by 1,600 pixels, ensuring clear visuals whether indoors or outdoors.

With a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, you’ll notice smooth transitions while browsing web pages or gaming, thanks to its fluid motion capabilities.

“The Galaxy Tab S11 provides sharp visuals with fluid motion,” experts have applauded, highlighting its brightness and clarity under most lighting conditions.

Performance

The Galaxy Tab S11 delivers impressive performance with its MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chip and 12GB RAM. Reviewers agree, stating “the chipset performs exceptionally well in both real life and synthetic benchmarks” (PhoneArena), ensuring fast and fluid operation.

Graphics enthusiasts will appreciate its solid GPU performance, allowing for higher framerates in gaming. While not groundbreaking, this tablet’s swift processing makes multitasking and gaming smooth and stress-free.

Software & Storage

You’ll find the One UI on the Galaxy Tab S11 a joy to use. It offers numerous options for customization and multitasking, making it one of the best in its class.

“One UI is a pleasure to use thanks to… features on board,” said a PhoneArena review, highlighting how much you can customize and streamline your daily tasks.

The new on-device DeX mode adds a desktop-like experience directly on the tablet. Reviewers find it slightly more complicated compared to previous versions, as noted by PCMag. Mindfully exploring these features can help maximize productivity on the go.

Cameras

The Galaxy Tab S11’s cameras are solid for a tablet, capturing clear images in good lighting with its 13MP rear camera. Reviewers from PCMag find the details slightly enhanced and note the punchy colors.

The 12MP front-facing camera serves well for video conferencing, keeping you in the frame with ease. Reviewers agree placing your tablet near good lighting will improve photo and video results. Video capture reaches up to 4K at 30fps, offering smooth recordings for casual use.

While adequate for basic needs, both experts and consumers will find the tablet’s cameras fall short of delivering smartphone-level precision and quality.

Battery

Get ready for all-day usage without the constant need to charge. The Galaxy Tab S11 delivers impressive battery life, achieving nearly 10 hours of web browsing, seven hours of video playback, and over eleven hours of gaming in tests, making it perfect for long workdays or relaxed weekends.

Fast charging at 45W ensures you spend less time plugged in and more time enjoying your favorite activities. In just 30 minutes, you can boost the battery to 40%, giving you ample power for the tasks ahead. Whether you’re working on a project or enjoying a movie marathon, this tablet keeps up with your needs without frequent interruptions.

Audio

The Galaxy Tab S11 boasts four stereo speakers with impressive clarity, making it ideal for watching movies and playing games. “The sound is exceptional for a tablet of this size,” according to experts, ensuring your entertainment is immersive.

The speakers provide clear mids and highs, though the deepest bass notes can be lost, indicating a potential need for headphones or external speakers for audio purists. With its robust sound, the Galaxy Tab S11 enhances your overall media consumption without the need for additional audio gear.

The Bottom Line

With a bright and vivid display, this tablet excels in media consumption and gaming thanks to its impressive battery performance. If you seek a lightweight device for entertainment on the go, this tablet is a great choice. Reviewers appreciate the comfortable design and strong build, noting it’s great for use anywhere, including the pool. “What measures an impressive 14.6-inch on the Tab S11 Ultra, we find the same on the Tab S11 in a much more manageable 11-inch format,” says NextPit.
