Doro 6520 User Manual

In fact the green light flashes even though there ARE no new messages or a missed call. I am trying to figure out what to to stop the green light flashing. I do NOT want to delete my old messages.

I do not have any messages on my doro 6520, the green light has come on and will not stop flashing - how to I get rid of this green light.

Thank you for that, being an 80 year old fogey, it was rather worrying. Thought I was very clever having topped it up. I'll have to rethink my opinions!!!

Hi SK. Green light means you have a new message or missed a call.

To delete a number on the Doro 6520 follow these simple steps:

1. Press Menu -> Phonebook.
2. Select a contact, then press Options
3. Choose Delete, press Yes to confirm.
4. Press OK to confirm.

how do I get to option after I have selected a contact

Have checked all the settings on my Doro for weather but it gives me wrong information all the time

Check Menu -> Settings -> Weather, choose your city then Select Wallpaper and select On (to view the weather in standby mode).

Hi Carl,

I rarely have the phone on it's for emergencies only. I really wanted to use my Doro as a portable diary, but it seems that when you enter diary events the phone will automatically turn itself on and give you a reminder of the events. The only way to stop it is to use the 'function bloc' and turn off the calendar and reminders.

Hi Pam. You need to remove the reminder to stop the alert from going off. Try to edi the reminder, check if there's an option to turn it off.

Are you pertaining to voicemail? I'm pretty sure it's also set at max possible rings by default. I'm not sure though if disabling it helps, sorry.

Thanks Carl , I don’t think there is either, but my son suggested turning off the answerphone message which should make it ring longer? 

Incoming call longer even

I have managed to sort this thank you. The message function couldn't be found anywhere on the phone, even though it had been there and had been used. I did a settings reset and this fixed the problem.

What do I change in Settings on my Doro Phone to bring back my Message Icon?

I only recently noticed the Settings option to store details on the phone or Sim.  My default was the phone and I have now altered it to Sim. Query is whether existing items stored on the phone will automatically be moved to the Sim

I believe you are pertaining to this "SIM to save up to 3 phone numbers and one e-mail address per contact." You misread it, you can store 3 phone number and an e-email address per contact. Hope that clears it up. :)

You will have to manually transfer/move the contacts.

Open Menu > Phonebook > Press Options > Copy All > From Phone.

Hi Eileen. I went thru the manual of Doro 6520 and didn't find any mention of such feature unfortunately. Have you tried calling your carrier and see if they can assist you from their end?

How to take some one off black list on Doro phone 

I have done as you say ,but when I put in the name of another town.the hour class appears and turns,but nothing happens.i left it turning for over an hour twice to no avail. Now I can't even get back to my own City of Norwich.   Your answer is OK ,but the Doro6520 does not respond.

Hi Joseph. Open Menu -> Settings -> Weather -> Select a different city -> then Select your city again. Check if the temperature refreshes.

Actually, we can easily use google account to help us transfer contacts from Apple ipad to new Dora6520. Of course, we can also try coolmuster mobile transfer to help us transfer data between them. 

You can transfer them via Bluetooth. Open Menu -> Phonebooks -> Select a contact, then press Options -> Send vCard -> Send by Bluetooth -> Press OK.
