Hi Joan. Which email app are you using?

Yes, Tesco is the carrier. Now check if you are using the correct APN settings. Go to Settings > Mobile data > More... > Access Point Names > Select the one you are currently using. Check you are using this:

Name - Tesco Internet

APN - prepay.tesco-mobile.com

Proxy - 193.113.200.195

Port - 8080

Username - tescowap

Password - password

MMSC - http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002

MMS Proxy - 193.113.200.195

MMS Port - 8080

Authentication type - PAP

APN type - If given a choice, select internet+mms, if the keyboard appears enter *

(As a check, the image below shows blue text in the fields you should have completed).

With regards to your email app Go to Settings > Apps > All > look for the email app, tap it > tap Clear cache. Let me know if that stops it.

Hope that helps!

Hi Carl, thanks for the reply. Must point out you are dealing with a dinosaur! Is my carrier Tesco? I pay them monthly. As to APN setting,I am lost.

I can send texts but not pictures.I also keep getting a message saying Unfortunately e mail has stopped but it hasn't I can still receive and send them.

Hi jeff. Which carrier are you with? You need to set the correct APN settings to be able to send picture messages. Some users say you need to enable data for a while for the messages to be sent.

Hi John. Must be a broken charging port. Highly suggest having it checked. Good luck!

Thanks Carl, Will do.

Home button does nothing and even trying to switch the phone off doesn't always end a call, I have to wait for the other person to end the call :-(

Hi Keith. Press the power or home button to turn on the screen to be able to cancel/end a call.

Hi Brian. Are you being spammed by someone? You can install a text blocking app from Google Play store.

I can't find any info of a call blocking feature in Doro Liberto 820. Since it's an Android phone, you can just download a call blocking app from Google Play store.

Go to Settings -> Sound & Volume -> Ringtone -> check if you have the option to choose from storage. Or open Menu -> Music -> tap and hold on the song you want to use -> choose Use as ringtone.

Hi Freda. Try this:

Go to Contacts  > open a contact you want to set as favourite > select Edit > select the star icon to add the contact to favourites > select the check mark when done.

Hi Fidel. Try removing the battery for at least 3 minutes then put it back and try turning on your phone. Let me know if that works.

Hi Brian. Try to remove your email, restart your phone, and register the email account again on your phone.
