“The Samsung Galaxy i7500 can march down the main street of Android Ville with its head held high, thanks to its stunning AMOLED screen, 5-megapixel camera with LED light, 8GB of on-board memory, and snappy, responsive user interface. But, with the bog-standard version of Android on-board, we missed the HTC Hero's bells and whistles, such as multi-touch capability. Based on the poor keyboard design, though, we're probably fortunate that Samsung has pretty much left Android alone. The Galaxy feels like a tricked-out HTC Magic with less attractive looks, but it's a solid smart phone that we'd be happy to show off.”
“Still there are upsides. Some will appreciate the fact that the Galaxy is pretty much uncustomized. If you’re indoors a lot (like me) the OLED display is a huge upside. I like to look at pictures and show them off and the OLED’s wide viewing angle plus awesome colours are great for this. It really puts most of the LCD displays/monitors in my house to shame. The 5 megapixel camera also pairs nicely with the display. In the end I liked the OLED display and the 8GB of built in memory (saves you a trip to the store) and to a lesser extent the 5 megapixel display. Otherwise not much stood out about the Galaxy.”

At 3 months it started dropping calls and double text-messaging. At about 4-5 months, the processing completely slowed down and the screen was always freezing up. I had no music on it, and only about 10 apps which I made sure were never running in the back ground. At month 6, it started rebooting...
I have had this phone since April and am going to get rid of it today. When it's stowed, the button for the ringer volume still works when the phone is supposed locked - hence, I miss calls all of the time because the ringer was off. It's horrible to try to get your messages or if you have to ent...
This is the worst phone I have ever owned. When you call your voicemail and need to use touch tone, the touch screen will randomly stop working, prompting you to have to call your voicemail 4 or 5 times to get a message and delete it. It started shutting down randomly for no reason about 3 hours ...
