“When all of this gets boiled down, we end up with a phone that is very much like the BlackJack II that it replaces. It has more RAM and WiFi support, and gets an additional megapixel or so in the camera department, but retains most all of the great features of the original. The notable exception is the scrolling d-pad, which has been replaced with Samsung's questionable turbo scroll d-pad.With its gobs of RAM, nice keyboard, and solid battery life, the new i637 Jack has earned its place among the best QWERTY phones on the market, even if it has lost a bit of style during the upgrade process. The Jack is the new non-Touch Windows Mobile smartphone to beat, at least until the HTC Snap is available. With that in mind, we give it a Highly Recommended rating.”
