What people actually want to know
Why does my Doro 5030 say memory full after only a few text messages?
The Doro 5030 has limited internal memory for SMS messages. After approximately 10-25 texts, the phone may show “memory full” and prevent you from receiving new messages.
To clear message memory:
- From the main menu, select Settings
- Select Messages
- Select Delete
- Select Delete All
This removes all stored messages and frees up memory.
If the problem persists:
- Remove your SIM card and insert it into another phone to check for hidden draft messages. Delete any drafts found.
- Restart your phone to clear temporary memory issues
- As a last resort, perform a factory reset (back up contacts first)
